This painting was allegedly discovered at a Beijing flea market and is believed to be the work of influential Chinese artist Qi Baishi. They claim that H. R. Giger stole the concept from the Chinese artist.
Obviously bullshit seeing how Giger’s never looked like the movie version. The movie version adapted it to have less penis head for a main stream movie.
