I just finished watching Shame, Written and Directed by Steve McQueen and starring Michael Fassbender, Carey Mulligan and James Badge Dale. This film is easily Michael Fassbender’s best role. As great as he is in Prometheus and Hunger he really becomes the character in Shame. It’s not an easy movie for a lot of people to watch as it follows his character through his sex addiction. When his sister comes to visit unannounced, the repetitive pattern of his addiction is disrupted. I suggest everyone who is a fan of Fassy definitely check it out. Also, this movie is the most believable portrayal of a sex addict I’ve ever seen in a film.
