Saga #13 sooo good!

Saga #13 sooo good!

I’ve been waiting a few months and Trillium is finally out! Jeff Lemire’s new comic that spans over hundreds of years. I was also surprised to see that the two characters stories are told separately in the comic. You read one story and then flip it over to read the other. Both characters meeting in the middle. It was an interesting way to start the comic off. I’m not sure if that will continue in the future or not.
Definitely worth a read!

The Sword

David Hayter, screenwriter of Watchmen, has been tapped to adapt the Luna Brothers’ graphic novel The Sword. Movie production is slated to begin in early 2014. The comic tells the tale of Dara Brighton, a paraplegic girl, whose family is murdered in cold blood by a trio with god like powers. Dara finds her father’s ancient sword, and it grants her not only the ability to walk but also superpowers. With the sword, she begins to track down her family’s murderers.

[The Wrap]

Slavicinferno here: I LOVE this comic. You need to read it and I hope they do the movie justice!

I just started reading WHISPERS by Joshua Luna of the LUNA BROS. And it’s really good. About a guy with OCD who somehow begins to have out of body experiences… and what he does with that ability. Definitely worth checking out.
